The Team was started by a group of friends who identify themselves as cousins. As cousins, we planned on starting our own team with the goal of getting professional and successful in the near future. Although we all play for various clubs and Teams, we never forget that the cousins must play every evening for the benefit of our team and the fun of being close friends. With our passion for soccer and determination to become the next best soccer team, we hope to inspire other to strive for the greatest success and remember “The sky is the limit.”Our Organization provides inspiration for others and soccer skills that can’t be found anywhere else in Maryland.

Fun Facts Our Club
Born in High School: Greenbelt FC started with a group of immigrant kids who played together during high school between 2007 and 2009. What started as casual fun turned into a competitive passion!
Team of Friends: The club was created by five original members who had played together for years, deciding to take it to the next level by forming a real team.
15-Year Journey: What began as a small group has now grown to over 40 members strong, thanks to former teammates and friends from other schools joining in over the past 15 years.
